Does anyone know how long the UFC events usually are for? We%26#39;re going on Saturday and I need to make dinner plans. Should we go before or after?

Never been, but wouldn%26#39;t it be determined by how many bouts there are and how long they last???? Like it boxing, it would be hard to predict based on how many rounds a boxer survives. Sounds like the PPV, based on googling, last 2-3 hours.
Agree that it will be determined by # of bouts and rounds. Just looking for an ';average'; time of the galas, if anyone have an idea.
I went to a show last year at the MGM...doors opened at 4:15, first fight around 4:45....depending on how the fights go...there is some down time....,main PPV card starts at 7pm, main event kicks off around 9pm.....could end at 9:01, could end at 9:30 :), then its a mad dash from the Grand Garden Arena to the SPortsbook to cash the winning tickets
