Taxi fare from airport

Do the hotels on the strip offer airport shuttles from the airport? If not, what%26#39;s the cost to get to the strip from the airport by taxi. Firstimer...thanks!

There are no shuttles from the hotels. Depends on what hotel you are staying at for the cab fare. Please repost with more details and we can tell you the approximate fare.

No Strip hotels offer free shuttles. There are shuttles that cost around $7-8 per person but these can be slow and (unless you%26#39;re solo) can cost as much as a cab. Taxi is the way to go.

Cost of a taxi depends just where on the Strip you%26#39;re heading. The Strip is 4 miles long and the airport is at its southern end.

Thanks...Imperial Palace

I prepaid for round trip hotel/airport transportation as part of my vacation package with Showtime Shuttles and it was $24 total for two people. You can also buy tix there at the airport fro the same price...$12 per person for each one way trip.

You can get to most ';South End'; strip hotels for under $20. Advantage of the taxi is you walk off the plane and right into a cab and your off - no waiting around for a shuttle to fill and then having to stop at 5 other people%26#39;s hotel before you finally get to yours.

Just did this on Tuesday. Airport to Imperial Palace was 17.00 plus tip.

I would definitely suggest taking a cab. With a shuttle you may end up spending a lot of time waiting for the bus to fill up and then taking a tour of the backs of hotels when other passengers are left off. Most people want to start their vacations as soon as possible. The cab line may seem long- but it usually moves quickly.

Also- there have been reports of people having problems with the shuttles when they are going from the hotel back to the airport. Either the shuttle arrived late of they didn%26#39;t arrive at all. Who needs that potential grief when you have a plane to catch? I am not saying it will happen to you- but why take that chance when cabs are always available?
