Imperial Palace Hotel feedback

Hello,

Any feedback about Imperial Palace? how%26#39;s the Capri vs Deluxe room?

I%26#39;m going to Vegas in mid June (first time) and don%26#39;t really want to spend $$ on hotel cuz i know i%26#39;m gonna be outside the whole time. I don%26#39;t gamble and pretty much going to walk around and check Bellagio, Venetian, Mandalay and Paris etc.. I%26#39;m going with my Boyfriend and 2 other friends (with 6 months old baby)

which one is better, cleaner %26amp; nicer - Imperial Palace, Ballys Flamingo or Harrahs?

Still can%26#39;t decide - please help!!!

Really appreciate any feedback you can give!

Imperial Palace Hotel feedback

Bally%26#39;s, Flamingo and Harrah%26#39;s are all better than Imperial Palace. I%26#39;ve never stayed at the Flamingo, but it gets good reviews here. I like Bally%26#39;s and have stayed there before. The rooms are large and the location is excellent. Harrah%26#39;s rooms are average at best, but their location is good.

I%26#39;d go with Bally%26#39;s, Flamingo or Harrah%26#39;s, in that order.

Imperial Palace Hotel feedback

I have stayed att he IP tiwce, once in a classic room and once in the deluxe. Both were good rooms, they are pretty basic, no frills, but VERY clean. I was happy both times, IP usually is the cheapest center strip, I would not hesitate to stay there agin. I would stay away from the capri rooms, since they are the motel style rooms behind the hotel. The deluxe and classic are both in the main hotel part and it%26#39;s easy to access the casino and food options.

Does it really make a difference to you as to which one is cleaner and nicer or is money the factor?

Best hotel in order

Bally%26#39;s also connected to Paris

Harrah%26#39;s Flamingo toss up

IP

We%26#39;ll be staying at IP next week. Staying 9 nights (well 2 will be at Caesars). We%26#39;ve never stayed there before but looking forward to it. I love the location and the frozen drink bar out front. We don%26#39;t need fancy...just a place to sleep and shower. Plus we like the idea of balconys.

We know people who have stayed there and continue to. No problems.

If pool is important to you at all, then of your list, Flamingo is the only real choice. Harrah%26#39;s and IP have motel-style pools.

Bally%26#39;s pool is a little better, but not much. Flamingo%26#39;s pool is gorgeous.

Whatever you do, if you stay at IP, do NOT stay in the Capri rooms. They are way in the back of the property, you have to travel through the dark parking garage to get to the Capri building. Calling these rooms ';motel-style'; is an insult to motels!!!!

I%26#39;ve stayed at the IP for 3 years now, it is excellent location. To be honest I spend the least amount of time in my actual Hotel. The rooms are clean but dated. The Deluxe rooms are kind of like a holiday inn quality, clean but nothing luxurious.

Nothing fancy with the pool, but itsclean and a place to swim. I don%26#39;t really go to Vegas to swim or hang around my resort. I go to venture around all day.

The negative about Ip is the elevators can take a while especially on days when everyone is checking out.

Hope you have fun!

I stayed at the IP last August in a deluxe room. The room was clean. The employees were friendly and efficient. I would stay there again.

Never stayed, but a friend of mine used to stay there all the time. He said the room was fine and clean, his only complaint was that the shower heads were very low. This may sound like a wierd complaint, but I am 6%26#39;4'; and hate a shower that makes me have to do a yoga workout to be able to wash my hair! His experience was from a few years ago, so they might have updated since then, just a warning in case you are tall!

Clientele: Middle-aged to elderly. It%26#39;s a low-roller casino and it draws a low-roller clientele. Expect to see lots of polyester. We find the casino pretty creepy, but if you dig Bruce Lee movies, you might fit right in.

Forget the Capri rooms. TA has a whole section on hotel reviews - why not read them and decide. This post will just turn into another divide between those who like the Imperial and want cheap accommodation and those who just call it a dump and advise you to try Wynns.
