Closet Walmart to the strip

We will have a car, staying at the Monte Carlo, but we need to buy a cheapo cooler and bottled water for our 10 day trip.

Will we pass one leaving the airport? If not, we can just go at some point to the closest one to the hotel.

Next to the MC there is a CVS and Walgreens across the road.

Does it have to be a Walmart?

If you are renting a car, turn South on LV Blvd instead of North and you will find ALOT of stores (grocery, etc)

We found 2/3 walmarts, but the best one is on Fort Apache, it is out by the Orleans

Also we found 2, had to use the pharmacy- they were on tropicana and Eastern blvd. Those would probably be closer

It doesn%26#39;t have to be a Walmart - guess I am just used to that! Mainly because I know I can get a cooler and bottled water for cheap - and we cannot bring that on the plane.

I don%26#39;t mind driving into the suburbs - it would be interesting to see the area as well.

Gosh, I want one of those Closet Walmarts! Would that ever save me a lot of money! LOL

People in the midwest and spring break destinations sure live and die by the walmart. But Vegas is a huge city.. water can be cheap at a liquor store or any grocery store. Just head down Tropicana and you will find plenty of places that sell ';cheap'; water.
