First time to vegas

I can%26#39;t help regarding booking flights. I%26#39;m sure UK posters will offer good advice. It may be better to post again with ';UK flights'; somewhere in your question to attract the attention of those who know best. A non-stop flight would be around 11 hours, obviously longer if you%26#39;re going to connect at another US airport.

Regarding hotels, you don%26#39;t need to really start thinking about this for around another six months, but to get a few ideas tell us (roughly) how much you%26#39;re happy to spend per night on a room. ';Not too expensive'; can mean vastly different things to different people.... :-)

Ty blagger will do that if get no joy with this post I am looking to pay 拢600 for 10 nights for both of us am I being to mean or will we get a room for this

That%26#39;s about $90 a night so you should be able to get something pretty nice. Certainly a mid-range room like MGM or Monte Carlo. People on here have been getting some great deals at the really nice hotels so I would check back when you get ready to book.

Ty will do do we need to fill in visa waivers online and when would we do this

If you want to fly direct, and don%26#39;t mind 11 hours on a charter flight, Thomas Cook/My Travel fly from Manchester. Alternatively you could fly Delta via Atlanta, American Airlines via Chicago, BA or Continental via New York, or US Airways via Philadelphia. BMI stopped their service last month.

Try searching on www.skyscanner.net for flights as it shows both scheduled and charter - but charter flights aren%26#39;t daily so therefore may not be an option if you want to travel on a certain date.

If you time it right, expect to pay less than 拢350 each for the flight.

Because of the length of the flight and jet lag, most Brits go for at least a week. It also makes the cost of the flights see a little less expensive if you are there for longer. Also, there%26#39;s so much to see and do that after over 10 visits averaging 10 days each, I%26#39;ve still not seen it all!

Most posters on here agree that it%26#39;s cheaper to book flights and hotel separately as the hotels have lots of promo rates which you can ask to be applied to your booking even after you have made the reservation. If you book a package, or book the hotel through Expedia or the like, you won%26#39;t be able to do this.

You will get lots of different opinions on here as to which hotels are the best value for money, but Bill%26#39;s seems to be consistently recommended (I%26#39;ve never been in) and is in a great location. Flamingo, Planet Hollywood, Ballys, Paris, Monte Carlo are all mid-range and centrally located.

Hope this helps!

If you wish to enter the US under the Visa Waiver Program you must apply online for an Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA).

https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov

An ESTA is good for two years or until the passport it applies to expires. It%26#39;s issued free of charge.

That should have been:

';An ESTA is good for two years or until the passport it applies to expires, WHICHEVER IS SOONER';.

Apologies for any confusion!

Hi Jane, what a great idea and a fantastic gift.

Theres 2 ways you can do this, you have plenty of time.
