Casino Royale Hotel

Has anyone stayed here since they were renovated?

I%26#39;ve never thought much of that hotel before but from what I saw on Youtube, the rooms actually looked nice. Well, maybe not Venetian nice but still good.

Not sure when the renovation was, but I%26#39;ve stayed there twice, the last time being September 2008 - for the money and the location, I think it can%26#39;t be beat...I mean, if you can afford the higher rooms, then go for it, especially right now, but they said rates are starting to go back up - and this place is usually less than $100 a night on the weekends, and less than $70 during the week - and my personal favorite part is that from the strip to your room takes all of 3 minutes - no hike through miles of casino.

Plus there is a fridge and safe in every room, and there is security on the elevators (you can%26#39;t get to them without swiping your room key)

Overall, for someone like me (I just need a bed, shower, $1 Michelobs, and a spot close to the action) - it%26#39;s perfect.

That is a weird video. Although the rooms do look decent.

I like the casino, and the $1 beers in the casino are great, but I would never stay there. I%26#39;d rather watch for a better deal someone a little nicer. Bally%26#39;s is much nicer and can be cheap too.

I would have liked to see more of the room but I guess it was more of a backdrop for the laundry company ad. It does look clean but I%26#39;m still not sure it%26#39;s something I%26#39;d travel 3000 miles for. Bill%26#39;s rooms seem to have a bit more pizzazz for a similar rate. Others%26#39; mileage (no pun intended) may vary.

At least we can confirm that they do indeed change their sheets! ;)

we stayed there a couple of weeks ago......nice clean motel type room in the best location imaginable
