Any stores close to Orleans?

I%26#39;ll be making a solo trip via plane (we usually drive and load up on drinks and snacks) and wanted to know 2 things:

1. Is there a place nearby where such things can be purchased?

2. Can I use a cab and have him/her wait whilst I go and retrieve said items?

Thanks to all that help!

Any stores close to Orleans?

Add the xtra taxi fare to the cost of snacks and it will be cheaper to buy then at the Orleans.

OR

Walk up to the gas station near the Palms on Tropicana and buy the stuff there.

Why dont you just have the taxi stop on your way to the HOTEL and pick up your drinks.

If I recall correctly there is a gas station right across the street from the Orleans. But I don%26#39;t know if their prcies would be much better then the gift shop, they did have snacks and stuff in their gift shop too.

We just were at the Orleans for the last 4 days. Pop and snacks are very expensive, $3.00 a bottle and chips were 1.50 a bag. There is a gas station close by, but a lot of traffice. Cab fare is high, and they charge a lot to wait on you.

If you are staying at the Orleans, it was the best and we will always go back

Have a great time

Please tell me why it was the best and how many other hotels you have stayed at to come to this conclusion, Im thinking of giving up the Bellagio to stay here should I?

I can give you several reasons:

The rooms were clean, big, cozy and much better then where we ever stayead before.

We asked for view, it was great view of the strip,

It was very quite in your room no outside noise at all

The cleaning service did an excellent job

The buffett was ok, breakfast was great, and so was the evening meal- outside cafe was ok, but i ended up sick from it ( my fault not theirs)

Machines were fun win some lose some

Front desk staff and employees were kind, helpful, eager to please you the patron.

Downfall, parking, you had to walk a long way to your room, and drag your stuff through the casino,

smoke was bad, I thought, someone people it did not bother,

I really think you would like it,we had a great time

Diceman;

I hope I know you well enough from here to say you jest. Say it ain%26#39;t so. Orleans - the best vs the Bellagio. As you very well know one of the two is a one star and the other a five star. I hope they can figure out which is which DiceMan? I know we can and we would not be caught dead or alive at the big O.

A few days ago I was looking at photos of the Orleans guestrooms posted from people here on Trip Advisor and they look to still be in decent shape.

Hi,

I was there last week. They have a liquor store in the hotel advertising the ';Lowest Prices in Vegas';. I didn%26#39;t go in to check it out. There is a Walgreens just to the East that is within walking distance.

There are many different restaurants in the hotel. Overall I really liked the place.

Orleans is known as the place to buy resonable priced liquor. Walgreen%26#39;s will have snack, water, etc.

I wouldn%26#39;t take a cab for snacks. If need be -wait until you are coming back from the strip and buy things at the Walgreen%26#39;s, CVS or ABC stores (they do sell liquor) on the strip.
