Best and most sociable places in Vegas

Go on, admit it, one of the things you all love about any kind of holiday be it to Vegas or wherever in the world is the possibility of maybe meeting some interesting new people, some new pals to add to your contacts etc. Perhaps even a holiday romance or just some good friendly company?

So, from personal experiences where in Vegas have been the best hang-outs for networking with some cool new people and where everyone has a good time?

I suppose many of you will say thye pools but when somebody is sunbathing it seems a bit odd to start randomly chattering, but I remember striking up conversation and getting on well with a cute girl and some of her friends at the Starbucks in Mandalay Bay on the beach level. Blondie%26#39;s sports bar was always a good shot. Oh yeah and there%26#39;s the gaming areas of course.....

What other stories and tips do others have?

Best and most sociable places in Vegas

I go to LV to get away from people since I have to deal with all kinds every day.

The most contact I make with people is usually at the pool, thats my social time.

I had a great time at the Peppermill (well since I was at our Old School MEGA party). LOL

The staff there and other patrons seemed to also enjoy watching our party so think it is normally a good place to hang out!

Well I always have a great time meeting sociable people at the pools as well. Try Wet Republic or Rehab on Sundays.

I m not into gambling, so I m talking more about the younger club going crowd.

Like the topic starter, I am also interested in this. Just to meet cool people (bros or nice women). Does anyone know much about Hawaiin Tropic Zone? It sounds way cheesey, but I heard the one in NYC is cool. Seems like their patio may be decent.

I hear that O%26#39;Sheas does a communal beer pong which sounds like a good social ice-breaker and hey, aren%26#39;t most cheerleader types complete suckers for the British accent? Hehe

I%26#39;m not a cheerleader(LOL!!) but I%26#39;m a sucker for a british accent!! I would think that the Brit and Aussie guys would have girls swooning all about them because of thier accents!!

S;-)

Carnaval Court in front of Harrah%26#39;s... in the day-time, this place usually has a super fun and sociable crowd... of course, it doesn%26#39;t hurt that most there also start drinking early. I went there once with my 3 girlfriends, and we stayed there for 11 hrs... 1:30 pm to 12:30 am. And let%26#39;s just say it is also a very flirtatious crowd.. 2 of my friends had no shame that night! LOL- but ah, the memories...

Harrah%26#39;s is the last place where I would expect to find a good (younger) social crowd. (yes oops, sorry I%26#39;m not being very PC here). There is something about the place that appeals to such a rabble! I remember buying a boittle of water from the refreshment place in the hallway that links the casino to the monorail, the dirty toothless hag behind the counter, bloody terrifying sight!

My husband spends a lot of time in the racebook/sportsbook (usually in whatever property we are staying) and always seems to find interesting people to talk to there.

Jonathan, I don%26#39;t recall saying that we were hanging out in Harrah%26#39;s monorail hallway. But remember, Jonathan, toothless hags need love too... and as they say: what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... LOL.
